Well, what a week it has been. Abbott is now leader of the opposition, and Bishop is standing by her third leader (still smiling and staying silent by their side..... starting think that she could be a bit of a political black widow). So now the Coalition has blocked the ETS legislation..... so what went wrong for the government? As my little sketch shows, I think the genetically modified McWong ETS tried to accommodate too many tastes and ended up being unpalatable....too much meat (carbon) for the greens and not enough meat for the right. And for Abbott's early musings on an alternate carbon reduction plan, based on more trees and energy efficiency,,,, got a drawing to do!!
